DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. —Former UTSA all-conference defensive lineman Kevin Strong Jr. will represent the Roadrunners in the SPIRAL Tropical Bowl All-Star Game on Sunday, Jan. 13. Kickoff is set for 9 a.m. CT at Daytona Stadium.

Strong will suit up for the American Team, which will be coached by Todd Littlejohn, and he is the second Roadrunner to play in the game, joining 2018 participant Nate Gaines.
A native of Cleveland, Texas, Strong finished his four-year UTSA career with 106 total tackles, 51 solo tackles, 26.5 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, eight quarterback pressures, three pass breakups, two forced fumbles, two blocked kicks and one fumble recovery. A 2017 second-team All-Conference USA selection, he shares the school record for blocks and ranks second on UTSA's all-time TFL list. As a senior, Strong registered 24 stops (15 solos), 6.5 tackles for loss, a sack, three QB hurries, one PBU and a safety.
