Naiomi Wilson joined UTSA’s Sports Medicine Staff in July 2021 and currently works with the volleyball team.

Previously, she worked as a resident athletic trainer for the football and softball teams at UTSA while completing the UT Health San Antonio Rehabilitation Residency program.
 
Wilson is a native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and graduated in 2021 from Eastern Michigan University with her bachelor of science degree and master of science degree in athletic training through their combined accredited program.

While completing her coursework, Wilson gained athletic training experience providing coverage to the football, baseball and men’s and women’s Basketball teams at Eastern Michigan. Additionally, Wilson completed a year-long residency with the University of Michigan football program in 2020-21, as well as a summer internship with the Seattle Seahawks in 2021.

As a resident athletic trainer at UTSA, she was part of the 2021 C-USA Championship football program.
 
In her free time, Wilson likes to go hiking with her dog and explore new restaurants in the San Antonio area. She says her favorite superhero is Groot.
