Conference USA announces date change for UTSA football game against Arizona State

IRVING — Conference USA announced Tuesday that the UTSA home football game against Arizona State — originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 17 — will be moved one day earlier to Friday, Sept. 16, for television.

Broadcast details, including network and game time, will be announced at a later date.

Fans will get a preview of the Roadrunners this Saturday, April 23, with the UTSA Football Fiesta Spring Game presented by HealthTexas. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Alamodome and admission is free.

The Roadrunners will kick off their first season under head coach Frank Wilson on Sept. 3 when they host Alabama State at the Alamodome. Other home contests include Southern Miss (Oct. 8), UTEP (Oct. 22), North Texas (Oct. 29) and Charlotte (Nov. 26).
