UTSA Sports Nutrition Internship

The UTSA Department of Sports Nutrition is seeking interns to work within UTSA Athletics.
 
The purpose of this internship is to provide practical experience to future sports nutrition professionals. Interns will be expected to work early mornings and late afternoons. Interns will have the opportunity to be involved in all areas of the nutrition services that are provided to UTSA student-athletes, including but not limited to food service operations, nutrition education and counseling, nutrition assessment and testing, and performance research and data collection.
 
Applicants should have a strong interest in a career in sports nutrition. Preferably, interns should be pursuing or have completed an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics required to become a registered dietitian (RD, RDN) or dietetic technician, registered (DTR, NDTR).
 
Previous experience in a sports nutrition program, internship experience, or collegiate athletics experience is preferred, but not required.
