Senior Season (2024-25)
Reached the doubles semifinal of the ITA Texas Regional Championships with partner Tiago Torres, defeating No. 3 doubles pair from Texas A&M, Togan Tokac and Giulio Perego, in the quarterfinal for UTSA’s highest-ranked victory on record … advanced to the second round of the inaugural American Athletic Conference Individual Championships in doubles … finished the fall ranked with Torres as the No. 60 ITA doubles pair and rose to No. 53 in the first ITA rankings of the spring … finished the fall season with a 6-4 doubles record.
Junior Season (2023-24)
Aided UTSA to its fourth consecutive 10-win season and a season-high No. 69 team ranking … led the Roadrunners in victories with a 12-3 singles record, going 9-3 on court six and 3-0 on court five … registered two streaks of six consecutive singles wins on the season, aiding UTSA to ranked team wins over No. 60 Utah State and No. 62 Oregon … playing his best stretch of the season with Alan Magadan (6-2), finished the year with a 10-8 doubles record and a 1-1 record in ranked matches … earned six consecutive doubles wins with Magadan, covering the entire month of March … finished the academic year with a 14-6 record in singles play for win rate of 70 percent, going 11-9 in doubles at 55 percent … named to the American Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.
Sophomore Season (2022-23)
Helped the Roadrunners to their highest ranking in program history (No. 34) and a final ranking of 44th in his second season at UTSA, residing in the ITA top 50 for 12 consecutive weeks … UTSA registered its best record since 1985 (18-7) and the program’s first NCAA at-large bid after finishing as the Conference USA runner-up … appeared only in doubles play, notching a 3-5 record and was 5-8 overall on the academic year … earned a spot on the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the second consecutive year.
Freshman Season (2021-22)
Went 3-3 in singles play during his rookie season, playing on court six … playing with two different partners, went 1-1 in doubles play … earned a spot on the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
Prior to UTSA
Attended Jean Piaget - Córdoba during his prep career, graduating in 2021 … ranked as the No. 5 junior in Mexico and No. 350 overall by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) … advanced to the Junior Davis Cup on the Mexican team in 2019 … in 2020, he reached the singles and doubles finals in ITF level 5 … claimed a doubles title in ITF level 5 in 2021, also reaching a singles final in ITF level 4 … reached as high as No. 605 on the ITF men’s rankings in 2021, winning the J5 Cancun doubles title that year.

Originally from Córdoba, Veracruz, Mexico, he is the son of Carolina Mendivil and Manuel Alonso … has two siblings, Manuel Antonio and Carolina.
