Played in 27 games and started 21 contests as a rookie forward for the Roadrunners … averaged 10.8 minutes, 2.0 points and 2.7 rebounds per game, collecting six blocks and three steals … shot 42.5 percent from the field and 67.9 percent at the free throw line … made collegiate debut with five minutes of action vs. Trinity (Nov. 7), scoring two points on 1-of-1 shooting with two rebounds … registered a season-best seven points in just nine minutes in the 95-91 win at FIU (Feb. 25), going 3-for-3 with one free throw made, collecting two offensive rebounds … scored six points in seven minutes at Western Kentucky (Feb. 2), logging a field goal and 4-for-6 shooting at the free throw line, while grabbing five boards … matched that rebound count just two days later at Middle Tennessee (Feb. 4), again tabbing five boards … set a season high in rebounds versus UAB (Feb. 18) with six, also registering two blocks and five points … made his longest appearance of the season with 21 minutes against Rice (Jan.16) … member of the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
Prior to UTSA
Prepped at Western Canada Prep Academy and played with the U-16 and U-18 Dutch National Team. While playing with the U-16 Netherlands squad in the European Championships, averaged 5.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game over eight outings, shooting 47.4 percent from the field in 2019-20. He earned Canadian Junior Basketball Team first-team All-Star honors while leading Western Canada to a third-place finish in league with a 13-2 conference record and a 27-13 overall mark. In the Tarkanian Classic Diouf averaged 24 points, 14 rebounds and three blocks per game in a 3-1 finish, with a pair of 30-point, 20-rebound games. Last year, he shot 55 percent from the field for Western Canada and 31 percent from 3-point range. Diouf was ranked as a four-leaf recruit by West Brown's Monday Morning Scouting Report.
