Tabbed the 2011 Southwest Junior College Football Conference Offensive Player of the Year … completed 188-of-304 passes (61.8 percent) for 2,654 yards and 26 TDs … added 334 yards and eight scores on the ground in leading team to an 8-3 record and No. 11 national ranking … named NJCAA Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 31, 2011, after accounting for 378 yards (336 pass/42 rush) and seven scores (3 pass/4 rush) in a 55-51 victory against Navarro College … helped lead prep club to a 15-1 record and the 2008 Class 5A Division I State Championship, where he was tabbed the game’s MVP … coached by Tom Westerberg.
