Appeared in nine contests in his first season with the Roadrunners … had five receptions for 22 yards … caught an 11-yard pass in the 52-21 rout of UTEP (Nov. 14) … completed an 8-yard pass to Frank Harris and had a 10-yard grab in the 27-26 win over Louisiana Tech (Oct. 24) … also returned a pair of kickoffs in the 51-48 double-overtime win at Texas State (Sept. 12) with a long of 17.

Transfer from Houston … appeared in a pair of contests for the Cougars as a true freshman in 2018 … had two receptions for 57 yards, including a 48-yarder, in Houston's win over Texas Southern … had a catch in the victory against Arizona … did not see any action as a redshirt freshman in 2019 … standout dual-threat quarterback at perennial powerhouse Converse Judson in 2014-17 … threw for 6,715 yards and 60 touchdowns and rushed for 3,369 yards and 58 touchdowns while logging a 42-12 record as a starter during his career … threw for 2,074 yards and 19 touchdowns while rushing for 815 yards and 14 more scores as a senior … earned all-district accolades and led the Rockets to the playoffs in all four seasons, including the state semifinals as a freshman and a sophomore.
