Junior (2013)
Played in all 12 games in his first season as a Roadrunner … racked up 29 tackles (12 solos/17 assists), including one for loss, and forced a fumble at Arizona (Sept. 14) … top performance of season came in the home opener against #13 Oklahoma State (Sept. 7) when he had a half dozen stops … added five tackles in the season opener at New Mexico (Aug. 31) and two weeks later against the Wildcats.
Prior To UTSA
Signed National Letter of Intent in December 2012 and began attending classes at UTSA in Spring 2013 … a first-team All-Pacific Conference selection as a freshman after recording 57 tackles (36 solos/21 assists), 9.5 TFLs and a sack for the Brahmas, who posted a 9-2 record en route to a Patriotic Bowl Championship … did not play in 2011 and has three years of eligibility with the Roadrunners … a three-year prep starter at linebacker and running back … earned second-team All-Marmonte League honors as a senior after posting 62 stops (39 solos/23 assists), three sacks, an interception, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery … also rushed for 334 yards and five touchdowns and caught 14 passes for 152 yards and another score in 2010 … garnered second-team all-league honors as a junior after racking up 102 tackles (62 solos/35 assists), a pair of sacks, two forced fumbles and four pass breakups … also was an honorable mention all-conference selection as a sophomore … the fourth player to join UTSA from Pierce JC (Franky Anaya, Cody Berry & Brandon Reeves are the others).
