2023 C-USA All-Conference Second Team
Junior (2023): Played in 53 games, starting in 50 of them… quickly earned the starting left fielder role, making countless game-saving catches throughout the season… had the third-best batting average (.319) on the team… picked up 65 hits, 41 runs, and 41 RBI… recorded 24 extra-base hits, including 13 doubles, four triples and seven home runs… had a conference-best 19-game reached-base streak… picked up 20 multi-hit games and 12 multi-RBI games… had two three-hit games, including a 3-for-5 game against Stephen F. Austin on March 14 and a 3-for-4 game against Florida Atlantic on March 17… named to the Conference USA All-Conference Second Team.
Prior to UTSA
Temple Junior College (2020-22): In his COVID freshman year in 2021, he appeared in 32 games for the Colonels... batting .160 with three doubles, a home run, five RBI, five SB in 75 AB... received Deans List Honors for 2020-21 school year… as a sophomore in 2022, he played in 52 games, while batting .413 with eight doubles, a triple and five home runs.
Nicholls (2019-2020): Saw action in five contests of the shortened 18-game season, all in reserve... scored two runs as a pinch runner for the Colonels... also stepped in for some outfield play, picking up a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
High School: Attended Grandview High School in Midlothian, Texas... as a senior, racked up a .505 batting average along with a .612 on-base percentage... secured 24 stolen bases as well... finished with eight doubles, eight triples and two home runs... named District 17-3A & co-All Johnson County Offensive MVP... tabbed as a first-team All-State outfield selection by 3A THSB and second-team All-State pick by 3A TSWA.
Personal: Son of Chris & Joni Hill... has one brother, Johnathan... father, Chris Hill, played professional baseball for 10 years, competing for the New York Mets, Boston Red Sox, Houston Astros and Baltimore Orioles organizations… majoring in multidisciplinary studies.
