Sophomore (2022): Appeared in four games, making relief catcher appearances in each with two at-bats … made 10 putouts with one assist in his 11 total chances on the field.
Prior to UTSA
Western Texas College (2020-21): hit .309 with a pair of homeruns and aa .412 on-base percentage in hiw freshman year at Western Texas College.
High School: Attended Alpine High School where he lead the Bucks to district and bi-district championships all four years, also going to the semi regionals twice... he was named the district newcomer of the year in 2016... also earned district defensive MVP in both the 2017 and 2018 seasons... as a senior, he was named the district MVP, after batting .472 with four home runs, 53 RBI and an on-base percentage of .590.
Personal: Full name is Nick Joe Crespo. Son of Veronica and Jesse Crespo and has a sister named Valeria. Born Dec. 26, 2000 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. He is studying kinesiology.
