UTSA/Middle Tennessee football game fan information

SAN ANTONIO — UTSA has released the following information for fans planning to attend the Friday night Conference USA opener against Middle Tennessee. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at the Alamodome.

UTSA has implemented a comprehensive plan for fans to attend home football games as safely as possible this season at the Alamodome. The plan, which will allow attendance at a reduced capacity of 17% and with physical distancing measures, follows all state and local health directives and focuses on risk mitigation strategies that promote the safety of student-athletes, fans and staff. Since the situation remains fluid and continues to evolve, the plan is subject to change based on emerging information as well as local and state health developments.

Below are some helpful tips for fans planning to attend the game:

• If you are not feeling well, please stay home. All guests will be subject to a temperature test prior to entry. Anyone displaying a temperature over 99.6°F will be taken to a secondary private area for a secondary temporal temperature screening. Employees or guests confirmed to have a temperature over 99.6°F and exhibit any signs of COVID-19 will not be allowed entry to the property and will be directed toward appropriate medical care and given written refund instructions.

• The Alamodome Clear Bag Policy is in effect all season.

• Parking lots will open at 5 p.m. A contactless parking management system will be in place and day-of-game parking is available in Lots B and C for $25. ADA parking is available in Lot A on a first-come, first-served basis. No tailgating will be permitted this season.

• VIA is offering the Route 93 Alamodome Express option for fans going to the game. The pick-up location will be at the UTSA Main Campus Oval on Devine Ave. All UTSA students, faculty and staff can ride for free by showing their VIA U-Pass provided to them on the VIA Go Mobile app. Postgame VIA service is located at the intersection of Commerce and Bowie on front of the Denny's. Regular Express fares will apply. For more information please visit viainfo.net.

• Face coverings are required to be worn properly (covering the nose and mouth) by all fans present at the Alamodome, except when eating or drinking in their seat. Following State of Texas guidelines, exemptions apply for young children and persons who are unable to adjust or remove face coverings.

• The Alamodome box offices will open at 5 p.m. and customer service windows are located at the Northeast and Southeast box offices.

• Doors will open to the public at 5:30 p.m. Fans should enter the Alamodome through the gate shown on their ticket. View the full map of entry gates here.

• All guests will be advised to practice physical distancing including standing at least six feet away from other groups of people, not traveling with them while standing in lines, and avoiding using elevators.

• Concessions will be cashless inside the Alamodome and fans can scan a QR code at signage located throughout the facility for Tapin2 mobile food ordering at Johnny Rockets and Earl Abel's.

• Fans will be able to purchase UTSA merchandise at Section 118 on the plaza concourse.
