CW35 updates rebroadcast schedule of UTSA football games

SAN ANTONIO — KMYS CW35 San Antonio has updated its rebroadcast schedule of past UTSA football games, moving the 2017 game against Marshall to 1 p.m. this Saturday, May 2.

The game that will be shown next Saturday, May 9, will be announced next week.

This Saturday's re-air will look back at the 9-7 Conference USA triumph over Marshall in the 2017 home finale, one day after UTSA Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Lisa Campos was introduced. The Roadrunners rode the right foot of place-kicker Jared Sackett — who made three field goals, including the game winner with two seconds left — and saw the defense limit the Thundering Herd to 229 yards of offense.

The rebroadcasts, which are done in partnership with Roadrunners Sports Properties, began on April 25 with the Roadrunners' 31-17 victory against North Texas during the 2016 season. Sporting all-black uniforms for the first time in program history, UTSA forced four turnovers — two fumbles and a pair of interceptions — while Jalen Rhodes and Jarveon Williams rushed for 74 yards apiece to key the win.
