Women's tennis hosts the Islanders Tuesday

SAN ANTONIO – UTSA women's tennis hosts Texas A&M – Corpus Christi at the UTSA Tennis Center at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
 
The contest is the second of two this season between the two schools and the finale of the three-match homestand.
 
UTSA defeated the Islanders 4-3 at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center Jan. 31, 2020, snapping a seven-match losing streak to Texas A&M – Corpus Christi. The Roadrunners are 4-12 in the all-time series.
 
ABOUT UTSA
• Jasmin Starr is 4-1 in singles play, all at the No. 1 position, dropping just three sets.
• Kylee Kato is riding a three-match winning streak and 3-1 overall – all at the No. 5 position.
• Catalina Cabrique claimed victories in her last two matches – both at the No. 4 position.
• Keegan McCain improved to 4-1 on the season, winning both matches last week.
• Starr and Keegan McCain remain unscathed in four decisions as the Roadrunners top duo.
 
ABOUT TEXAS A&M – Corpus Christi
• The Islanders are 10-1 on the season.
• All eight players have a winning mark in singles action.
• Victoire Delattre (9-0), Kei Kato (8-0), Maria Maldonado (4-0), Jordan Ortega-Mendez (5-0) and Camille Towsend • (8-0) are unblemished in individual play.
• As a team, they are 21-4 in doubles action.
