Men’s Tennis announces fall slate

SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA men's tennis team will participate in seven tournaments as part of its fall schedule, it was announced by fourth year head coach Rodrigo da Silva.

"We're excited about our 2019 fall schedule," da Silva said. "This is a good schedule to prepare us for the dual-match season in the spring. We're returning a lot of key pieces from 2018 and are eager to get back on the court and start getting ready for 2019."

UTSA will open the year with a split-squad weekend on Sept. 13-15, with the team split between the Midland Invitational in Midland, Texas, and the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Invitational in Corpus Christi, Texas.

UTSA will kick off October with the All-Americans in Tulsa, Okla., from Oct. 4-13. The Roadrunners will venture to the Lamar Invitational Oct. 11-13 in Beaumont, Texas, also traveling to the Rice Invitational on Oct. 18-20 in Houston, Texas.

The ITA Regional is set for Oct. 25-28 in Waco, Texas, with the Oracle ITA National Championship held in Newport Beach, Calif., Nov. 6-10.
