SAN ANTONIO —UTSA Athletics and Learfield's Roadrunners Sports Properties announced Monday that UTSA Football Insider will begin its seventh season on the air this week.
The 30-minute television show will debut statewide at noon and again at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31, on AT&T SportsNet Southwest. UTSA Football Insider can be seen each Friday on AT&T SportsNet throughout the football season. Other scheduled air times in the month of September include 4 p.m. on Sept. 7, 5 p.m. on Sept. 14 and 4:30 p.m. on both Sept. 21 and Sept. 28.
UTSA Football Insider also will air locally at 10:30 a.m. each Saturday during the season beginning Sept. 1 on KMYS-CW 35 San Antonio as part of the Citywide Sports Network.

Thirteen episodes are slated for production by San Antonio's Quarter Moon Productions. Host Mike Lefko and reporter Valerie Lopez will give fans an all-access look at all aspects of the program with game highlights, previews, interviews, features stories and activities around the UTSA campus.
The Roadrunners will open their eighth season of play and third under head coach Frank Wilson on Saturday, Sept. 1, when they travel to Tempe, Ariz. for a 9:30 p.m. contest against Arizona State.
UTSA will kick off its home slate at 6 p.m. Sept. 8 against Baylor at the Alamodome.
