SAN ANTONIO — Director of Athletics Lynn Hickey, members of UTSA Cheer & Pom Squad and men's basketball players Larry Wilkins and Tyler Wood recent participated in pep rallies at two local elementary schools.
The first one came at Canyon Ridge Elementary and it featured college awareness. Hickey was the main guest speaker and Wood discussed the importance of staying in school.
The second occurred at Burke Elementary. It was planned by the school's third graders and the theme was respect. Wilkins discussed the importance of treating everyone with respect, especially in and out of school.
