SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will offer free admission to all fans for Wednesday's men’s basketball home game against Jarvis Christian. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and tip-off is slated for an hour later at the Convocation Center.
All fans will be admitted free of charge, but they must obtain a complimentary reserved seating ticket by visiting the UTSA Ticket Office between the hours of 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Monday-Wednesday or the ticket windows in front of the Convocation Center beginning one hour prior to tip on Wednesday.
Fans who hold a ticket to the previously scheduled Wayland Baptist game, which has been canceled, may use that ticket for entrance to the Jarvis Christian contest. No ticket exchange is necessary.
UTSA also is offering a Facebook promotion for the game. Fans may “like” the UTSA Men’s Basketball page and receive a printable coupon that can be redeemed at the ticket windows for two free tickets for Wednesday night.
The Roadrunners (12-7) have won three straight and six of their last seven games. UTSA was victorious in the only previous meeting with Jarvis Christian, an NAIA member of the Red River Athletic Conference located in Hawkins, Texas, by a score of 113-67 on Nov. 29, 1986, in San Antonio.
