FRISCO — Sophomore Danielle Snyder was named Southland Conference Goalkeeper of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday. It marks the second time this fall that she has earned the circuit's weekly honor.

The Buda native did not allow a goal and recorded six saves in 176 minutes of action in leading UTSA to wins at Central Arkansas and Northwestern State last weekend.

She logged three saves in the Roadrunners’ 2-1 win against the Bears on Friday and improved to 4-0-1 with her second shutout of the fall against the Lady Demons two days later.

Snyder also picked up Goalkeeper of the Week honors back on Sept. 27, as UTSA sweep the conference’s weekly awards.

The Roadrunners return to action at 7 p.m. on Friday when they host Lamar (7-6-1, 4-0 SLC).
