SAN ANTONIO – The UTSA men's tennis team will play two matches this weekend, including one at home. The Roadrunners will travel to face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center at 12 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10. A day later, UTSA will return to the UTSA Tennis Center to host Utah State in an 11 a.m. match.

In doubles play, the Roadrunners (2-4) picked up their first wins in the last outing, which was a 5-2 triumph at UTRGV.

SCOUTING TEXAS A&M-CORPUS CHRISTI
The Islanders are off to a 4-1 start and own a four-match winning streak. A&M-Corpus Christi dropped its season opener, 4-0, at Texas on Jan. 19, but has reeled off four straight victories since then, including back-to-back wins over Division III Trinity on Sunday, Jan. 28.

LAST MEETING WITH THE ISLANDERS
The two teams met three times last season with the Islanders winning all three matches. The last meeting was a 5-2 decision in favor of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center.

SCOUTING UTAH STATE
The Aggies (4-2) are making a swing through the Lone Star State this weekend for a pair of matches. Utah State will take on No. 16 Texas on Friday before heading to San Antonio to match up with UTSA.

The Aggies, who are coming off a 4-0 win against Boise State in the Mountain West Conference opener on Feb. 4, are led by Jose Carvajal and his 5-1 singles record.

LAST MEETING WITH THE AGGIES
The two teams met up on Jan. 24, 2016 at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Norman, Okla., as the then-No. 66 Roadrunners suffered a 4-0 setback at the hands of Utah State. The Aggies earned the doubles point and tallied three more in singles play to complete the sweep.
